Simply insert the Bar Code ActiveX Control into your
application and select a few bar code properties, such
as bar code height, bar width, barcode type and bar
code orientation. Your desired bar codes will be generated
automatically.
The Barcode ActiveX Control software also supports
data binding so you can bind fields (tables or queries)
in Access or VB to the Control and generate barcodes
for each data record automatically. The data binding
capabilities makes it trivially easy to produce reports
and labels containing bar codes using any database
that supports ActiveX technology.

Barcode ActiveX and DLL Sample Code
To make it even easier to add bar coding capabilities to
your applications, we provide you with sample Access, Visual
Basic, C/C++ Excel, Word, Active Server Page and IE Web page
examples that show how to use the Bar Code ActiveX Control
and the Barcode DLLs. We also provide free and unlimited
technical support.
High Resolution Barcodes
TAL barcode software products do NOT create bitmaps or use
barcode fonts to produce a bar code symbols. Our bar code
software creates high resolution Windows Metafile (vector)
graphics that are completely device independent, fully scalable,
and will print to the highest resolution of any printer supported
by Windows. Some products, such as B-Coder and the ActiveX
Plus also support other graphic formats. No knowledge of
the printer resolution is required in advance, the graphics
that are produced are extremely precise and require minimal
system resources, and all bar codes produced with the TAL
Technologies Bar Code software will display and print lightening
fast.
Internet Barcodes
The Bar Code ActiveX control (standard) software will work
in an HTML document as long as the browser is Internet Explorer
running under Windows. If you can restrict the end users
to this configuration then our barcode ActiveX control is
without question the best solution for adding bar codes to
a web page. The demo comes with a sample HTML document that
demonstrates how to use the control in a web document.
The PLUS version of our bar code ActiveX control has the
ability to save bar code graphics using the GIF, JPEG and
PNG file formats which would allow the images to be used
in a web browser application that would be independent of
the type of browser.
To generate bar codes in a web server application where
the bar codes are created dynamically would require that
you create an Active Server page or use Java or CGI scripting.
This web-based scripting or code would dynamically create
the bar codes by calling the ActiveX control and having it
save the images to disk files on your server and then output
a web page with links to the graphics. If you will be presenting
the same bar code without requiring that the bar code change
at all then you could simply save the bar code images on
your server and reference them in an HTML page just like
any other graphic.
